I write about almost anything that attracts my interest. I guess my main genre is fantasy. I always like to have a bit of magic in any story that I write, after all, life itself is magic.
As to my aspirations as a writer, no need to be bashful about that! First and foremost I want to master the art of writing. I compare writing to playing a musical instrument. First I learn the notes, making all the mistakes listed in my book of amateurs. Next comes competency, that level where the notes are mastered and I am able to play any song I choose. Finally comes that magic place where I will be able to stop emulating what others have done and step out into the world of pure creation, like a jazz musician improvising on a love song. I want as many novels published as I can possibly write. I would like at least one of them to be made into a movie. I think it would be fascinating to see my characters come alive on the screen. Last but not least, I want my works to give readers the pleasure of escaping to another place and time, a place where magic really does exist!
